Braves Forum: Warren Spahn

My grandfather retired as head groundskeeper at County Stadium in Milwaukee back when it was still the home of the Braves. My mother has a lot of great memorabilia...and memories. My favorite being her first true love...and boyfriend...Eddie Matthews back when he was only 19 years old! I do have a question prompted by the recent passing of Warren Spahn. She has a wallet card that she received at the stadium in 1961. It basically says "I was there for Warren Spahn's 300th Game" and has some stats, etc. on it. It is in perfect condition...no creases or bent corners. Has anybody ever heard of something like this? Where could I go to find a value?

If the person posting this message left their e-mail address, we inserted some random characters to prevent spammers from harvesting their address. Spammers do this with automated "bots" that constantly search the Web looking for e-mail addresses. Since you're a human being, not a bot, you can easily obtain the real address by removing the text that says "ThisisToPreventSpam-XYZ-RemoveThis." including the random number XYZ and the period at the end. For example, <info@ThisIsToPreventSpam-123-RemoveThis.interesting.com> would become <info@interesting.com>.
