Baseball Forum: Baseball Signed by Babe Ruth?

Posted by: G. Ferrell (gary3@ThisIsToPreventSpam-614-RemoveThis.charter.net) on 3 Jun 2003 at 5:19:58 PM

I have an aquantance that received a baseball (Rawlings
88CC Cushioned Cork Center)
printed on the ball. It is signed in red (now faded to pink) by Babe Ruth. It appears that much later in life the same ball was signed in black sharpe marker by Sammy Sosa on the opposite side. I have a floppy disk full of pictures of the ball and signatures.
Is there any one I can E mail the photos to to check if they are real?

Thanks

If the person posting this message left their e-mail address, we inserted some random characters to prevent spammers from harvesting their address. Spammers do this with automated "bots" that constantly search the Web looking for e-mail addresses. Since you're a human being, not a bot, you can easily obtain the real address by removing the text that says "ThisisToPreventSpam-XYZ-RemoveThis." including the random number XYZ and the period at the end. For example, <info@ThisIsToPreventSpam-123-RemoveThis.interesting.com> would become <info@interesting.com>.
