Baseball Forum: Game Winning Home Run doesn't count

Posted by: Hark () on 23 Sep 2003 at 8:21:38 AM

I am looking for a story I heard once about a game winning homerun that was hit in a World Series or League Series that after touching home plate and thinking they had just won the game, they learned they lost the game on the third out because the batter missed a base. Can anyone help me find that story?

Thanks

Spammers do this with automated "bots" that constantly search the Web looking for e-mail addresses. Since you're a human being, not a bot, you can easily obtain the real address by removing the text that says "ThisisToPreventSpam-XYZ-RemoveThis." including the random number XYZ and the period at the end. For example, <info@ThisIsToPreventSpam-123-RemoveThis.interesting.com> would become <info@interesting.com>.
